Under these Terms, the company NICEFOODS RESTORANI DOO BEOGRAD, with its registered seat in Belgrade, municipality Novi Beograd, address: Bulevar Mihaila Pupina no. 85a, company registration number: 07092652, TIN: 100000207, shall determine the terms under which the customers that purchase McDonald’s products are granted benefits to participate in the McDonald’s loyalty program.
These Terms generally describe the MyMcDonald’s Rewards loyalty program, while the website https://www.mcdonalds.rs/ contains an offer, a list of rewards/benefits under the loyalty program, and other applicable information. The list of rewards/benefits may change from time to time. For that reason, make sure to visit https://www.mcdonalds.rs/ to learn the latest information about MyMcDonald’s Rewards loyalty program as we continually improve our offer and offer exciting new benefits within the program.
ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM
MyMcDonald’s Rewards loyalty program is available exclusively through the McDonald’s mobile app. To participate in the MyMcDonald’s Rewards loyalty program, you must be a registered user of the McDonald’s app. All registered users of the McDonald’s app are also participants in the MyMcDonald’s Rewards loyalty program without the need for additional user consent. The loyalty program and its use do not constitute new or additional processing of the personal data of registered users of the McDonald’s application.
HOW TO EARN POINTS
MyMcDonald’s Rewards loyalty program participants have the opportunity to collect loyalty points at the rate of 0.1 points for 1 dinar, spent on each purchase.
For example, for a purchase in the amount of 100 dinars, the program participant has the opportunity to collect 10 points, while for a purchase in the amount of 1500 dinars, they will be able to collect 150 points.
The following conditions must be met to successfully earn loyalty points for MyMcDonald’s Rewards:
- The purchase must be made at one of McDonald’s restaurants in the Republic of Serbia operated by the company Nicefoods restorani doo.
- The purchase must be made at the restaurant – a checkout, self-service kiosk, or McDrive. Delivery purchases are excluded from participating in the loyalty program.
- The loyalty card’s digital QR code within the McDonald’s app must be scanned on the device at checkout before payment. In the case of using a coupon within the McDonald’s app, it is possible to collect points without additional scanning of the digital loyalty card. If the code cannot be scanned due to unavailability or device malfunction, you can read out to the employee the characters of the code printed below the QR code on the digital loyalty card when ordering. On self-service kiosks, it is possible to enter the code manually in the “Enter manually” menu.
Subsequent addition of loyalty points for purchases made after payment is not possible.
If a coupon from McDonald’s application was used when ordering, loyalty points will be automatically added to the registered account from which the coupon was used. It is not possible to scan another account’s digital loyalty card within the same account.
- A reward/benefit can only be used through its activation in the McDonald’s app and by registering (scanning or manually entering the code) at a checkout, self-service kiosk, or McDrive. Rewards/benefits are not available for use through the delivery service.
- A reward/benefit can only be obtained in one of the McDonald’s restaurants in the Republic of Serbia managed by the company Nicefoods restorani doo.
- Any reward/benefit shall cease to be available through its use.
- Rewards/Benefits are non-transferable.
All rewards/benefits available to the registered user of the McDonald’s application, due to the accumulated number of points, can be used to purchase McDonald’s products. By activating the reward/benefit through clicking the “Redeem now” option, the balance of points on the loyalty card will be reduced by the amount of points indicated on the activated reward/benefit.
HOW TO REDEEM YOUR REWARD/BENEFIT
A reward/benefit can be redeemed by scanning the QR code of the activated reward/benefit within the McDonald’s app. A reward/benefit is activated by clicking on the “Redeem Now” option. In case the code cannot be scanned due to unavailability or device malfunction, you can read out the characters of the code printed below the QR code on the activated reward/benefit when ordering. At self-service kiosks, it is possible to enter the code manually in the “Enter manually” menu. After activation, the reward/benefit is available for use for the next 2 minutes. In the event that the user has not redeemed the reward/benefit during this period, by registering at the cash register (by scanning or manually entering the code) and concluding the payment, the reward/benefit will be automatically returned to the user account after a maximum period of 1 hour.
McDonald’s bonus campaigns or promotions may from time to time offer bonus campaigns or mechanisms that allow you to earn extra loyalty points in new and different ways. All data on current methods of collecting loyalty points are published at the https://www.mcdonalds.rs/
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF LOYALTY POINTS THAT CAN BE COLLECTED
A user account in the McDonald’s app can at any time contain a maximum of 5,000 loyalty points, which is considered the upper limit of points. Once the upper threshold is reached, further accumulation of points in the same account will not be possible. Additional restrictions can be applied, such as the maximum number of points that can be collected in a day and the maximum number of purchases in a day for which loyalty points can be earned. In case of application of such additional restrictions, they will be displayed on the website https://www.mcdonalds.rs/
The products that can be used as part of MyMcDonald’s Rewards loyalty program and the number of points required to use them are indicated on the website https://www.mcdonalds.rs/ .The rewards menu may have multiple levels of rewards/benefits from different loyalty partners and multiple products that can be redeemed at each level of rewards/benefits, subject to changes at McDonald’s discretion. EXPIRATION OF POINTS
Points shall expire at the end of the calendar month, 12 months after they have been awarded if they have not been redeemed before.
McDonald’s shall reserve the right to delete loyalty points awarded at any time if the products for which the points were awarded are returned for any reason and if the full or partial purchase price is refunded. This shall also apply to the replacement of products unless the replacement is made for products with the same point value.
McDonald’s shall have the right to take any action it deems appropriate, including deleting or suspending accounts and accumulated points if it discovers any suspicious activity in this regard, including but not limited to the following:
- engaging in illegal activities or fraud;
- providing or attempting to provide false or misleading information or misrepresentation in a restaurant or before the company Nicefoods restorani doo; or
- violation of these rules (including unauthorized trade in earned points or unauthorized use of McDonald’s loyalty program materials and labels); or
- excessive earnings (fraud or other punishable act).
Loyalty points and rewards/benefits have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
At the same time, you can only have one registered McDonald’s account and an associated MyMcDonald’s Rewards digital loyalty card on the same device. You are responsible for updating any changes to your name, email address, or any other details as soon as possible after the said change, which you can do directly in the “My Account” menu within the McDonald’s app.
The company Nicefoods restorani doo shall reserve the right to terminate the loyalty program of MyMcDonald’s Rewards, inter alia, due to force majeure, other extraordinary circumstances or other commercially justified reasons and shall not be obliged to explain such a decision separately.
The account shall be automatically terminated after the death of the account owner, and the points collected but not redeemed will be canceled. The company Nicefoods restorani doo will close the account upon the notification of the death of the account holder. McDonald’s shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by any person as a result of such cancellation.
The company Nicefoods restorani doo shall retain permanent ownership of all materials and advertisements related to MyMcDonald’s Rewards loyalty program.
By participating in the MyMcDonald’s Rewards loyalty program, you are accepting these terms. The law of the Republic of Serbia shall apply to these conditions, and in the event of a dispute between the account user and the company Nicefoods restorani doo, the dispute shall be entrusted to the First Basic Court in Belgrade or to another court having jurisdiction in terms of the registered seat of the company Nicefoods restorani doo.
Nothing in these Terms shall affect your legal rights as a consumer.
You can cancel your account at any time through customer support at https://www.mcdonalds.rs/ . Once the cancellation has been confirmed, any MyMcDonald’s Rewards loyalty program offers and points collected on your account will be automatically deleted and/or will expire. Accordingly, we recommend that members carefully plan all cancellations to avoid unintentional loss of accumulated points. Once the points expire or are deleted, they cannot be renewed.
